Gabriela Stone serves as an economic analyst for the Policy & Innovation Center (PIC).With a wide variety of professional experience including developing and executing actionable, equity-focused research, she is a skilled data analyst and in her current role is responsible for interpreting and leveraging data to drive sustainable community change.
Prior to joining PIC, she was the coalition administrator and public affairs project coordinator for Langco and Partners, a health justice and equity public affairs and strategy firm. With a strong background in public heath, she was also a research project and data manager at UC San Diego Health and worked as an emergency department technician and nursing assistant for Sharp HealthCare.
She holds both Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in global public health from the UC San Diego School of Public Health, and during her tenure there worked as a graduate student researcher and graduate teaching assistant.
Fluent in English and Spanish, she has contributed to multiple academic publications and serves on the CEO Advisory Board for the Chicano Federation of San Diego County.
